Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use this website or the Urgent Care app provided by Urgent Care — Adults & Pediatric.
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This is not an emergency service
If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. This website and the Urgent Care app are not monitored continuously and must never be used to report an emergency.
Who may use the service
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. A parent or legal guardian may hold an account on behalf of a child and is responsible for the information provided and for decisions made about that child’s care.
What we provide
The app lets you request an audio or video consultation with Dr. Juliette L. Dorsett, M.D., exchange messages with the practice, and receive documents such as prescriptions, sick slips, certificates, laboratory and imaging requests, and referral letters.
A consultation through the app is a genuine medical consultation. It is not a substitute for a physical examination where one is needed, and the doctor may ask you to attend the clinic in person. The doctor may decline to issue any document where it would not be clinically appropriate to do so.
Your account
- Give accurate information about yourself and your health.
- Keep your password private and do not share your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
Care decisions rest on what you tell the doctor. Incomplete or inaccurate information can affect the advice you receive.
Payments
Consultation time is purchased in the app before a call. Prices are shown before you pay, and card payments are handled by our payment processor. Purchased time that has not been used is not automatically refunded; if something has gone wrong with a payment, call the practice on (242) 328-CARE (2273) and we will look into it.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to request prescriptions or documents dishonestly.
- Do not send abusive, threatening or unlawful content to the practice.
- Do not attempt to access another person’s records, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
We may suspend or close an account that is used in these ways.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted. Consultations depend on your internet connection and on your device, which are outside our control.
Documents issued to you
Documents issued through the app are genuine records signed by the doctor. Altering one, or presenting it as something it is not, may be a criminal offence and will end your access to the service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we look after it. By using the service you agree to that policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
